Imran Tahir Pulls Out Cristiano Ronaldo “Siuu” Celebration During The Hundred 2022, Video And GIF Goes Viral
Cristiano Ronaldo’s signature celebration is the “Siuu.” He does this after scoring a goal for Manchester United in the Premier League and UEFA Champions League matches, as well as for Portugal during international matches. Many other athletes throughout the world have modeled their celebration after this one.
Imran Tahir Celebrates After Taking A Wicket In “Cr7” Fashion
The toss was won by Birmingham Phoenix captain Moeen Ali, who elected to bowl first in Match 15 at Edgbaston on Monday, August 15. After losing his batting partner Alex Hales early on, Trent Rockets’ Dawid Malan, who had started the inning, appeared to provide some resistance.
The only thing he managed to do was to walk back for nine runs against his name, which he couldn’t do it. The high-pitched delivery of Imran Tahir thoroughly outwitted the southpaw. Malan attempted a big hit on the leg side but was unable to pick the googly that the seasoned leggie bowled. Unfortunately for him, the ball was mistimed and ended up with Henry Brookes at mid-off rather than traveling farther. Dawid Malan made a long trek back to the dugout as Brookes finished an easy catch.
Tahir’s exuberant satisfaction at scoring his hard-earned wicket had no bounds. It wasn’t only his customary sprinting celebrations this time; he also included Cristiano Ronaldo’s “Siuu” celebrations.
Phoenix Defeats Rockets With Ease
Getting back to the game, Birmingham Phoenix easily defeated Trent Rockets by chasing down their goal with seven wickets remaining and 14 balls to spare. Phoenix’s captain Moeen Ali shone as the batsman hammered a quickfire 52 off only 28 balls. Liam Livingstone demonstrated that he was up to the task by scoring an unbroken 51 from 32 balls.
The Rockets earlier scored 145/6 in their 100 balls. At the end of the innings, Daniel Sams quickly struck 55* (25) to help the Rockets post a decent total. If it weren’t for Sams and Lewis Gregory’s 92-run combination, they would have been out in less than 100 runs.
