Raiders have gone onto release wide receiver Henry Ruggs III after his car crash resulted in the death of a person
Raiders wide receiver Henry Ruggs III found himself in the midst of the fatal car crash in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
The incident which took place on November 2 near the Rainbow Boulevard and Spring Valley Parkway has since seen Henry being charged with DUI for his involvement. The accident involved a green Chevrolet Corvette and a Toyota Red with both cars pictured destroyed in the aftermath of the crash as a colossal fire erupted.

Unfortunately, there was a fatality as well involved in the crash with the fire crews sent to combat the fire locating a 23 year old victim in the car. The victim’s dog also ended up losing its life in the crash for which Henry has been identified as the main suspect.

Police said the driver of the Corvette, 22-year-old Henry Ruggs III, remained on scene and showed signs of impairment with him subsequently charged with DUI of alcohol and/or a controlled substance resulting in substantial bodily harm and reckless driving resulting in death or substantial bodily harm. He will making an initial appearance in Las Vegas Justice Court on Wednesday.
Henry’s attorney went onto talk about how he and his team would be carrying out their investigations into the entire set of events as he refused to comment further on the matter. Henry was released from the University Medical Center and booked into the Clark County Detention Center.
The NFL player was immediately released by Las Vegas Raiders who issued a statement that they had decided to part company with Henry owing to the severity of the matter.
