The horrible incident happened on Sunday in Mexico, when the two brothers collided with a Ford Explorer pickup truck.

Fico was behind the wheel when the accident took place, and he was driving a Porsche Boxster.
How it happened
The incident occurred near Valle de Bravo, which is a resort area located about 60 miles west of Mexico City. It happened on Sunday when the two brothers were traveling in a Porsche Boxster. Their vehicle collided with a Ford Explorer pickup truck, which lead to Federico or “Fico’s” instead death.
Max on the other hand survived but had to be airlifted to a Mexico City hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Who are Max and Federico Gutiérrez
Max Gutiérrez is a 20-year-old up-and-coming driver who has competed in four NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series races in 2022. He represents AM Racing and he has several ARCA Menards Series starts on his resume.
One of his famous wins was the 2021 victory in the ARCA Menards Series East at Florida’s New Smyrna Speedway.
Federico Gutiérrez or Fico as he is fondly called, was a 17-year-old rising star in the Mexico Truck Series. Fico earned a name for himself in the Truck Mexico Series following his first victory in Fall of 2021. He managed to finish on the third spot through points. Just last year, Fico made his debut in the NASCAR Mexico Challenge Series, where he finished in 11th-place.
