Watch Hindu students threatened and harassed in Jamia Milia Islamia University during Holi celebrations

Jamia Milia Islamia University, has been in the news lately for all the wrong reasons as Islamists peddle their propaganda by protesting against Hindu students celebrating Holi

There have been a lot of arguments and disagreements at the university, and both students and staff have faced backlash from different groups. In the most recent incident, a man threatened Jamia students who were celebrating Holi on campus while others chanted religious slogans.

The March 1 event has gone viral on social media, and many people are outraged by the man’s behaviour. Some deranged people don’t think it’s right to celebrate a Hindu holiday at a Muslim university because of the incident but Hindus should be more than willing to accommodate Muslims reading namaz in their colleges.

The university’s chapter of YUVA, which supports academic, social, and cultural projects put on the event. A lot of Jamia Milia students took part in this programme and played Holi, a traditional Hindu festival of colours that celebrates the triumph of good over evil, with colours.

But some students didn’t like that Holi was celebrated on campus. They said it was a Hindu holiday that didn’t belong at a Muslim university. They didn’t agree with the university’s decision to let such celebrations happen. And they said the university was trying to force Hindu culture on the Muslim community.

Jamia Milia has always been in some kind of trouble

The university has been in trouble before, so this isn’t the first time. In December 2019, students and police fought violently at the university during a protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).

Jamia Milia students and police got into fights, and some students set fire to buses along with asking for the death of Hindus in the country.

It is very important that the authorities take action to deal with these problems. And make a place where everyone feels welcome. The university must make sure that every student’s voice is heard and that their rights and dignity are respected.
