A 35-year-old man has been charged with two felonies of inciting racial hatred following an altercation outside Temple Beth El, a reform synagogue in West Bloomfield, on Friday, December 2. A different charge of resisting arrest was brought against the offender in court on Tuesday.

Two and a half years ago, Chokr appeared before Wayne County Judge Regina Thomas, who had released him on bond for a Dearborn criminal case. His previous bond was cancelled, but his new bond in Oakland County is set at $1 million.

Chokr Used Vulger Language And Crossed His Limits

Throughout the proceedings, the defendant reportedly had several dramatic outbursts, according to Local 4/ClickonDetroit. The day after insulting the judge, he mooned her at a fictitious emergency bond hearing on Monday, December 5. At the court, Chokr, who was being held in the Orange County Jail, reportedly pleaded the fifth and refused to admit his name.

The judge then muffled his microphone as he continued to get angry, yell, and point at the camera. The judge appeared to maintain her cool as she added, “Now he has taken off his pants to show the court his behind.” She continued, “I’m putting him in the waiting room.”

James Gallagher, the chief of police in Bloomfield Township, spoke about the event from last Friday: “Chokr didn’t make any assumptions about who he would talk to in that parking lot. He was using some of the most offensive language and statements I’ve ever heard while parents were carrying their children to school.”

The Wayne County Assistant Prosecutor reportedly told Fox2 News Detroit that the defendant “posted videos and statements on Instagram where he speaks about getting guns.” In one of his social media posts, which the prosecutor used. He claims, “You have no business being on this planet, you (expletive) Jew mother; your Jewish strategies will only backfire on you (expletives). You’re all going to disappear from our lives in a storm.” The defence of Chokr, however, was put forth by Duane Johnson. He claimed that his client was simply practising his First Amendment right to free speech.

Such People Are Danger To The Society

Judge Thomas once questioned Chokr’s mental stability. She expressed worries about his being a danger to the community and stated that he “looks to be mentally sick pretty plainly.” She remarked, “I don’t see why somebody would think it’s appropriate to pull down his pants and display his behind during a court case.

The judge said, “He exercised his right, and I am punishing him for it. In this life, nothing any of us do is without repercussion.”

Chokr reportedly had been released on a $10,000 bond after he was ultimately charged with assault with a deadly weapon and assault on a police officer. At the Islamic Center of America on Ford Road, the defendant allegedly assaulted a female volunteer and ran from police while armed. According to some reports, the trial has not yet taken place.
