For those who are unversed, let us tell you, the MP who represents in Lok Sabha from Krishnanagar, West Bengal was speaking on the recent Hindenburg Research’ report on Gautam Adani.
While she was speaking about the report, the politician was interrupted a number of times by other members. Although she managed to finish her speech, it created an uproar in the Lok Sabha.
Amid the uproar, Moitra, heard using unparliamentary language in the House. After which again a ruckus erupted as everyone started condemning her and some even went to protest.
Meanwhile, the Speaker tried to calm everyone down, the protesting members were heard saying that being a woman the usage of “offensive” language didn’t suit her.
Although the TMC politician later apologized for her remarks, everyone seemed to be complaining about the incident that happened with TMC’s Sudeep Banerjee.
In her speech, Moitra raised some interesting questions about why the recent Adani Group FPO was approved without completing an investigation report.
She even went on to demand a thorough investigation into the alleged irregularities in the group.
Let us remind you, the stocks of the Adani Group and companies are continuously beating in the share market ever since the US-based short-seller, Hindenburg Research, has released a report against the group alleging that the group includes fraudulent transactions and share price manipulation.
