In a recent video, Dhoni discussed food with an unseen individual who, despite Dhoniโs suggestion, declined to visit Pakistan, citing his unwillingness even if given the names of specific dishes.
Dhoni said โYou should go to Pakistan once for the food.โ To which fan replied โIโm not going there even if you suggest good food. I love food, but I wonโt go there.โ
Dhoni is gearing up for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) season after leading the Chennai Super Kings to their fifth title in the previous edition against the Gujarat Titans. Currently, he is enjoying quality time with his family and friends in Dubai.

In a separate development, Asghar Afghan, former captain of Afghanistan, shared an interesting anecdote about a conversation with Dhoni regarding the admiration that fellow Afghan player Mohammad Shahzad has for the Indian wicket-keeper batter.
The conversation took place after the thrilling tied match between India and Afghanistan in the 2018 Asia Cup.
Asghar reminisced, โAfter the tied match, I had a lengthy chat with MS Dhoni, a superb captain and a godsend to Indian cricket. We discussed Mohammad Shahzad extensively.
โI informed Dhoni bhai that Shahzad is a big fan of his. Dhoni responded, โShahzad has a big tummy, and if he loses 20 kg, I will pick him in the IPL.โ However, when Shahzad returned to Afghanistan, he gained an additional 5 kgs (laughs).โ
Asghar also reflected on the exhilarating experience of playing against India, labeling the tied match in the 2018 Asia Cup as the pinnacle of his career.
He shared insights into the strategic decision-making during the last over, expressing satisfaction with the execution of their plan to secure the thrilling victory against India.
