According to a report by the New York Times, a large part of America’s mystery and controversial monument, Georgia Guidestones were damaged in an explosion with the video viral
The whereabouts of the culprit is still unknown.
There are few conspiracy theories about the association with humongous structures that had inscriptions meant for current and future generations.
Georgia Guidestones was promoted by the State officials as “America’s Stonehenge”. Although the purpose of its making is still unclear to date, the structure has existed for more than 4 decades.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has captured a video and shared it on social media. The video showed the moments when the monument blew up leaving chunks of it being dispersed into the air.
What was written on the Guidestones?
The message inscribed on the top of the monument says that, “Let these be Guidestones to an age of reason”. This phrase is written in different languages including Babylonian cuneiform, Egyptian hieroglyphics, Sanskrit and classical Greek.
However, the writings are more in the form of “guides” for mankind in 8 different languages listed within 10 points. The languages used for inscriptions on the 4 stones are in Arabic, Chinese, English, Hebrew, Hindi, Russian, Spanish, and Swahili.
These 10 points were believed to help humans in future survival.
According to the official website, the 10 principles for mankind were inscribed on the monument are –

To Rule passion, faith, tradition, and all other things with tempered reason.
To Protect people and nations with fair laws and just courts.

To balance the personal rights with social duties.
To Prize truth, beauty, love, and seeking harmony with the infinite.
To be not a cancer on the Earth and Leave room for nature.
According to a report by the New York Times, After the explosion, the monument received a great deal of damage due to which the rest of the structure was reportedly demolished for safety reasons.
Who Made the Georgia’ Guidestones?
The origin of the monument dates back to 1979, when a man who identified himself as R.C Christian came to Elberton with the idea of constructing the Guidestones.
It is said that the man has enlisted the Elberton Granite Finishing Company to fulfil his vision. When the construction was complete, the monument weighed 119 tons and contained 951 cubic feet of granite.
It is believed that they have more than 4,000 sandblasted characters and letters, “each were the average of about 4 inches in height”.
