The character of Gardner Minshew is intriguing with video of him staying in a prison bus viral
The quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles ventured outside his comfort zone this offseason by boarding a prison bus. When Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Gardner Minshew said he wish to live in a bus outside of coach Anthony Tumbarello’s gym in Bonita Springs, Florida, this summer, Tumbarello wasn’t sure at first if Minshew was legitimate.

But sure indeed, Tumbarello claimed that on February 20 after a few days of cross-country travel, Minshew drove the monster into a place next to the garage when he noticed the “beep, beep, beep” noise coming from the rear of the industrial estate where his gym sits. And it stayed there for more than 5 months until Minshew came to training camp in the week when he will attempt to build on a fruitful debut season in Philadelphia.
According to Minshew, who documented his lengthy, unusual journey this summer in an Instagram post. He had wanted to live on a bus since he was in high school. “I really adore the freedom it gives me. It gives me a location to go and concentrate,” said he. “I eat, sleep, and take showers at the gym where I live. Everything. This place is like my own little island. My favorite.”
To realize his dream, he purchased an old prisoner delivery van and ended up giving the interior a hippie remodel. This included adding a lava lamp, neon orange chairs with white shag throw pillows, and a flowery bed skirt. And a variety of album artwork from artists like Pink Floyd, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Janis Joplin, and Black Sabbath. He picked up the guitar.
At least temporarily, the busing era is finished. Minshew, who is back in Philadelphia for camp, has listed the bus for sale and is seeking $25,000 for it. However, he said on social media that his true want is to “see her in a wonderful and loving home,” adding that it may be ideal for Eagles tailgating.
