Arsenal’s recent loss to Manchester City was tough for Gunners fans, but for a well-known online figure Troopz, the game was the start of trouble as he lambasted his wife
Fans were upset with Troopz, whose real name is Aumar Hamilton, after he yelled at his partner during the live stream of a game.
As soon as Manchester City took the lead, Troopz lost his temper and seemed to yell at his partner, telling her to leave the room because he thought her presence was bad for the game. The event was caught on camera and shared on social media, where many people attacked it for being rude and controlling.

Barstool Sports first posted the video with the description, “TROOPZ HAS LOST IT WITH THE MISSUS,” and several laughing emojis. Later, the tweet was taken down, but not before it made people angry on social media. Domestic abuse activist David Challen reacted on the clip on Twitter, saying that Troopz’s behaviour towards his wife shows how football can create a time of more intense control and fear, making an already bad situation worse.
Challen went on to say that Troopz’s young son was also in the room and was yelled at for his team giving up another goal. He said that children are also victims of household violence and that this kind of behaviour has no place in society. It hurts and controls people.
Troopz defends his outburst during football match amid accusations
When Troopz found out about the reaction, he made a video in which he said that his partner, who is a Tottenham fan, was making fun of him during the game and that it was just football banter. He also said that he has been with his partner for 18 years and that their relationship is different.
Still, his actions made Twitter users unhappy, and some of them called it abusive and unacceptable. One user said that they understood sports talk, but there is a line that shouldn’t be crossed. Others called him a thrower and said they didn’t get why football made people so angry.
Troopz incident is a cautionary tale for social media influencers
Even in the name of football banter, the event shows that there is a line that shouldn’t be crossed. Influencers and public figures on social media should be held responsible for what they do, and it’s important to stand up against cruel behaviour, both online and off.
Troopz works for Barstool Sports now. He has less to do with AFTV these days, but he is still a regular online presence for Arsenal. The thing that happened during the live stream was a stark warning that social media stars and influencers need to be careful about how they act, especially when young people can see what they do.
