According to reports, Leonard will rejoin the NBA after serving a suspension for using the derogatory slur “kike.” According to rumours, Leonard and the Milwaukee Bucks have agreed to a 10-day contract, allowing the 7-foot centre to participate in an NBA game for the first time since January 2021. The NBA star was censured for uttering a gravely offensive anti-semitic term.
While live-streaming on the platform Twitch, Meyers Leonard, a centre for the Miami Heat at the time, made the remarks. The NBA launched an investigation over Leonard’s use of anti-Semitic terminology, while the eSports organisation FaZe Clan cut ties with the player. Leonard has expressed regret for using the phrase.

The Miami Heat’s response
