The “f***ing c***” insult that former ESPN reporter Marly Rivera yelled at a female reporter earlier this month was caught on camera, and you can see it all happen right in front of Aaron Judge in the tape, which TMZ Sports was able to secure.

The incident occurred on April 18 at Yankee Stadium, just before New York played the Los Angeles Angels in the Bronx. This week, ESPN fired Rivera from her position as a national baseball reporter.

The New York Post claims that after arranging an interview with Judge, Rivera became upset when rival reporter Ivón Gaete turned up to meet with the star Yankee at the same time.

As Judge signed autographs and posed for pictures with fans just feet away, the video shows Rivera become so enraged with Gaete—whom the Post reported had been at the stadium to cover Angels star Shohei Ohtani for Tokyo Broadcasting—that she started to yell at the woman in Spanish.

Rivera once rolled her eyes and referred to Gaete as a “f***ing c***.” Gaete asked a nearby camera person whether they had recorded the comment after being visibly shocked by the statement. The two reporters remained for a while around Judge after that. Rivera appeared to want to apologise when he finally left the area, but Gaete didn’t seem ready to accept it.

ESPN has fired Rivera from her post.

Following the interaction, ESPN announced on Wednesday that Rivera had left the company. In the meantime, Rivera informed the Post that she accepted full responsibility for her deeds.

There were alternatives, but Rivera insisted that this in no way justified what she had done. She is a professional in baseball with a sterling reputation, and she does believe that she is being singled out by a group of people with whom she has had a long history of professional disagreements, Rivera said. Since then, Rivera has removed her social media accounts.
