The fan’s efforts were appreciated by Al Horford who asked him to up the ante with the Kendall Jenner chant at Kyle Kuzma
Over the years, fans have engaged in the quirkiest bits of antics to try and cause a hinderance to opposition players. One ploy which has become a fan favourite over the years is referencing the name of players’ ex-girlfriends and wives in a bit to distract them from executing their play to perfection.
Wizards vs Boston Celtics: Kendall Jenner Shouts Distract Kyle Kuzma During Free Throw
When Washington Wizards went sparring with Boston Celtics, one Celtics supporter decided to do his bit to help his team pull off a win on the day. As Kyle Kuzma stepped up to take a free throw, the fan in question was heard yelling Kendall Jenner at the player in a bid to make Kuzma’s concentration go haywire.

The chants were picked up on by Al Horford who was quick to laud the effort the fan was putting in for his side. Horford was seen gesturing towards the fan to up his voice and intensity of the chants, a move which swayed in his side’s favour as Kuzma ended up making a meal of the free throw. Kuzma makes up the Jenner playing 5 in the NBA with him one of the six players she’s managed to get around in the marquee league.
Unfortunately for the Celtics though, that mishap wasn’t enough to get them past the finishing line on the day. The Celtics slumped to 117-106 defeat on the day as Montrezl Harrell scored a staggering 25 points along with accruing 11 rebounds to take his side to a win.
Spencer Dinwiddie added 22 points while Bradley Beal had 17 for the Wizards who have opened their season 3-1.
