Fan Brings Dog Died As Pikachu During Heat vs Timberwolves NBA Game, Video Goes Viral
A basketball fan had trouble when he brought his dog, which was painted to resemble the most well-known Pokemon, to an NBA game. The tiny, fluffy dog was given a bright yellow coat and red dots on its face to mimic Pikachu from the well-liked Japanese cartoon. The dog was noticed being handled by its owner at a basketball game on December 27 between the Miami Heat and the Minnesota Timberwolves. After the sports fan was spotted in the audience and a picture of the dog was posted on Twitter, there were calls for his arrest.
A video of the tiny fluffy dog was posted on Twitter by user @cjzero, and the game commentators who are describing it appear to be at a loss for words. The internet was incensed at the dog’s unusual markings, and many people claimed that the move amounted to animal cruelty because dyes used for humans may hurt animals—sometimes permanently.

A similar story was previously covered by MEAWW, in which the pet owner painted her Great Dane a pink tint so that passersby wouldn’t be alarmed by her dog. Even the animal’s nails were painted by her! Jessica Williams, a 21-year-old from Kentucky, stated that she had become tired of people on the street being terrified of her and had taken drastic measures to make her cute five-month-old puppy Drama more approachable to strangers.
Williams spent $100 (£76) on a harsh makeover for her five-month-old puppy, which included colouring the dog pink. She adds that because of the modification, her dog now has a much better appearance because admirers crowd to see her pet’s intense colouring.
