Ethan Payne is one of the seven Sidemen members who have amassed 20 million followers through their skits, gaming videos, and business ventures. The group is described as a “boyband who do not sing, merely entertain with friendship” by Payne, a resident of Brentwood, Essex.
The 28-year-old Payne, better known online as Behzinga, claimed to have begged his mother to just give him a year to figure out his options. The well-known figure on the internet now has 4.5 million Instagram followers and is well-known for his fitness and streaming videos. Ethan Payne attributes Sidemen’s success to their honesty
Being genuine with their audience has been credited by a member of the wildly successful Sidemen group for the YouTubers’ success over the previous seven years. At eighteen, Ethan had to persuade his mother, who preferred him to attend college, to allow him to start a YouTube channel.
Even though he still lacks a college degree, he claimed he hasn’t looked back in the last ten years. The Sidemen are composed of Payne, Tobit Brown (TBJZL), Harry Lewis (W2S), Olajide “JJ” Olatunji (KSI), Simon Minter (Miniminter), Joshua Bradley (Zerkaa), and Vikram Barn (Vikkstar123).
Payne has also been quite transparent about his heavy drinking and mental health over the previous ten years, using YouTube as a platform to support other young people going through difficult times. In 2020, he participated in the London Marathon and has collaborated with the Teenage Cancer Trust.
