While Man City was celebrating their championship, Ederson was allegedly seen using snus in a viral video
Ederson has been charged with smoking “snus” as Manchester City was celebrating their championship. After winning an unprecedented treble, Pep Guardiola’s team displayed their Premier League, FA Cup, and Champions League trophies in Manchester.
As a result of Rodri’s goal, they defeated Inter Milan 1-0 on Saturday to complete their triple. They defeated Manchester United 2-1 in the FA Cup final one week prior. After defeating Arsenal to win the Premier League for a third straight season, they won their second trophy.

After Manchester United, City became the only other English team to win the triple crown. Such an accomplishment. Despite the weather, there was a festive mood back in Manchester as the team celebrated their nearly flawless season.
Jack Grealish acted as the focal point of everything. The Englishman appeared to have been on a three-day binge, which included a fast trip to Ibiza, and to have gotten very little sleep. Additionally, he was seen pleading with his teammate Bernardo Silva to stay at the club in a video that was captured on a Manchester tram.
This summer, Bernardo was said to be leaving the Etihad, but Grealish and everyone else connected to City are obviously keen for him to remain. Football enthusiasts saw something else in the video of Grealish pleading, though. Fans believe it was snus they saw Ederson place in his top lip in the corner of the video.
What is snus?
To release nicotine into the bloodstream, snus is inserted within your gum in the form of tiny pouches. It’s claimed to calm the user down, while stronger varieties can make you feel a little buzzy.
Is snus prohibited?
Snus use is not prohibited in the United Kingdom or any other member of the European Union, with the exception of Sweden.
On two occasions, it seemed on televisions that players were using snus during a Premier League game, according to a story in The Athletic. Bertrand Traore, a replacement for Aston Villa, appeared to elevate his lip and put something in his mouth. Later, Traore disputed that it was snus. The third-choice goalkeeper for Newcastle was observed acting similarly while watching a Premier League game against Liverpool from the stands last year.
