The DW Daniel High School football team student athletes fight video has gone viral
Social media platforms, especially TikTok, X/Twitter, and Reddit, are currently flooded with a brutal video, wherein a group of football players seemingly attacked a student. Ever since the video surfaced online, claims are swirling around that three black students were the one behind the attack, and they reportedly attacked a white student. Earlier, social media platforms were buzzing with a one-minute video, wherein a group of teenagers were seen inside what appears to be a dorm room wherein they seemed to be having a conversation at first, which instantly changed into a fist-fight.
A student athlete was beaten at a Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) summer camp for football players and video of the attack shows the student being punched repeatedly in a dorm room at Presbyterian College in South Carolina on July 7.
The Moorhead Lefevre Law Firm and the Kyle J. White Law Firm released a joint statement Monday on behalf of the unnamed victim’s family, saying the victim was beaten by football players from D.W. Daniel High School in Pickens County and the camp was a school-sponsored event, and the FCA was renting out Presbyterian College’s campus at the time.
What Did the Viral Video Feature?
As aforesaid, the video seemed to be of a locker room, wherein at first the students were having a conversation, which instantly changed into a fist fight when some black students suddenly attacked a white one. Immediately afterwards, the other guys joined in as well, as they keep on throwing punches at the white guy.

The viral post claims that the incident took place among the DW Daniel High School of the School District of Pickens County students. The incident allegedly took place at a football summer camp on July 7th in a dorm at Presbyterian College.
Reportedly, all the guys involved in the incident were Daniel football players and they were present at the 7:7 FCA football camp.

What Did the Presbyterian College Say?
After the video went viral across the internet, Presbyterian College released a statement as they said after an initial investigation, the campus authorities transferred the case to the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice and the Solicitor’s office on the 8th circuit.
The school district of the Pickens County also released a statement as they addressed the viral incident. In their statement, on Sunday the Pickens County School District stated that the incident was “an altercation,” involving student of Daniel High School and that the summer camp was school-sponsored event. Furthermore, they said that they are committed towards a fair and thorough review of the situation.
“We are following our own district disciplinary policies, adhering to our athletic policy (based on South Carolina High School League guidelines), and also cooperating with Laurens County law enforcement through their legal process,” the district said in its statement. “We want to emphasize that we fully recognize the seriousness of an altercation of this nature. While we are committed to helping our students learn and grow from their mistakes, we are also ensuring that appropriate consequences are administered in line with district policy and the law.”
Meanwhile, the FCA stated that they took an immediate action after learning about the incident, and send those involved their homes.
What Did the Victim Say?
However, the victim of the incident, who is allegedly a Senior at the DW Daniel High School in Central South Carolina, has now forward and alleged that during the football summer camp, he was jumped and beaten by 3 of his teammates.
Furthermore, he claimed that, when the trio came to his room, he was showering. After hearing his teammates has come to his room, he came wearing only towel around his waist.
Later, they started arguing as the three were asking him to admit something that he allegedly didn’t do. As per claims made by the victim. The trio were asking him to admit that he used the N-word in the group chat, which he denied.

As per him, several teammates were coming and going out of his room as he was involved in an argument, however, nobody called for the coach. He also claimed that he accessed the phone’s camera via his watch right before the they allegedly attacked him.
Daniel High School football coach Chris Stone has now been placed on administrative leave following an incident July 7 involving Daniel football players, according to the School District of Pickens County.
“I can confirm that the DW Daniel football coach is currently on leave as the district conducts an investigation of the program as a whole,” school district spokesperson Darian Byrd said. “Because this is a personnel matter, we are unable to share additional information at this time.”
District officials added that they cannot provide specific details about students involved or disciplinary actions due to federal student privacy laws, citing the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act.
