The postseason wait for Big Blue is gone.
The New York Giants 38-10 thrashing of the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday helped them advance to the postseason for the first time since 2016. Let’s go on to the review of the single-sided match between the Giants and the Colts.
For the second time since their Super Bowl XLVI victory in 2011, the Giants will now play in the postseason. New York (9-6-1) ensured its first winning season since the same 2016 season in addition to securing a postseason position. Since Ben McAdoo in the aforementioned 2016 season, Brian Daboll is the only Giants rookie head coach to be invited to the postseason.
While Daboll will receive well-deserved praise, quarterback Daniel Jones has also made history by becoming the first starter since Kerry Collins in 2002 to lead Big Blue to the postseason without being Eli Manning.
The New York Giants checked in as the third NFC East club to clinch a postseason spot, joining the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys, amid the plethora of historical notes for one of the NFL’s most illustrious teams. The most prestigious division in the NFL hasn’t had three postseason participants since 2007.
The Giants are once again participating in the dance, ending New York’s wait. How do you see these celebrations?
