Shaq tore into Ben Simmons as he asked him to focus on improving his game rather than hanging out with girlfriend Maya Jama
Ben Simmons has been the talk of the town in the land of the NBA. However, its been for all the wrong reasons with the player falling in the eyes of the Philadelphia 76ers’ faithful.
Enduring one of the most horrid postseasons, Ben Simmons decided he wanted out of the 76ers. Despite being on contract with the team for four more seasons, the player has talked about his desire to leave the side with the club looking on how to offload him as well.
However, the team hasn’t been quite able to reach a solution to end the conundrum it faces regarding Simmons. No team has yet come up to offer what the 76ers feel would be ideal value for the player with Simmons now said to be looking at missing training with the 76ers later this month in a bid to push through a move.
Ben Simmons Gets Brutally Honest Advice From Shaq
Berated by people who feel Simmons should have been more grateful to the 76ers who stuck by him despite his tanking form, the player has now received advice from NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal. Shaq talked about how he wished Simmons would actually spend time improving his game rather than spending all his time with girlfriend Maja Jama.
“I like Ben. You gotta work on your game, man. Don’t be sending out tweets with you and your little actress girlfriend. I don’t want to see that. I want to see you win a championship for Philadelphia,” Shaq said talking to Stephen A. Smith.
