Who takes their dog to watch college basketball with the video from the GW vs American game viral
That was the query posed following the interruption of Saturday’s game between George Washington and American for an unexpected but endearing visitor.
Dog Runs Onto The Court During GW vs American Basektball Game, Video Goes Viral
Later on in the day, it received a response!
The Eagles had the ball in the offensive half two minutes into the game and blasted a three-point attempt off the rim. The Colonials regained control of the ball after it went out of bounds. A border collie took off across the parquet as player Ricky Lindo Jr. was attempting to collect the ball from close to his team’s bench. He had no need to be alarmed by the hairy invader at 6-foot-8 and 220 pounds.
Lindo Jr., on the other hand, did not anticipate the dog’s approach, so when he saw the collie heading in his direction, he leapt out of his skin and ran as fast as he could. The senior starter was extremely cautious as the dog made a quick right turn away from the George Washington side.

It was funny to see how he reacted to the dog streaker.
After a few shared giggles by everyone in the grandstand and on the court, the dog eventually ran back beyond the baseline and play resumed. Even though Lindo Jr. might have believed differently, the collie wasn’t going to hurt anyone!
It was odd to see a pet run onto the court at the Charles E. Smith Center because animals are not permitted there. From where did it come? The dog came back after the first half, thus that question was resolved. Lucky, the halftime act, is who she is! Lucky appeared early because she was a little too anxious to demonstrate her frisbee-catching prowess. Is it fair to blame her? Even if Lindo Jr. didn’t like her impromptu performance, she only wanted to say hello.
