Czech player Sara Bejlek is making headlines after a video went viral in which she was caught in an inappropriate moment with her father and coach after she made big strides in her career by reaching the US Open Main draw 2022
The 16-year-old player had caught in an inappropriate moment during her victory celebrations with her coaching team after the final qualifying match.

The young player defeated Heather Watson in a tough 3-setter to reach her maiden grand slam main draw and walked over to her coaching team to celebrate the moment.
A video which has sent the shocking waves making the rounds on the internet showed members of Sara’s team including her father and coach involved in a highly inappropriate gesture.
The so-called “celebration” drew the wrath from the fans who watched the video and highlighted the problem.
While some pointed out that the manner of the celebration is “inappropriate” and “normal” in some cultures, others pointed out that nothing justifies “creepy hugs”.
One of the shocked tennis fans took to his Twitter handle to penned down, “There’s absolutely no reason to touch a 16yo girl on her butt like that. It’s beyond inappropriate.
As the video progressed it got worse and worse. And that’s not because I see her as “sexual object” or am projecting as some in comments and quotes are alluding.”
Speaking of the US Open qualifier match, the 16-year-old Sara stunned Kristina Mladenovic, who was the 14th seed in the women’s singles qualifying draw, in her opening match of the 2022 US Open qualifiers. She had a 6-4, 1-6, 6-4 victory.
Bejlek moved to the final match of qualifying with a 6-4, 6-1 win against Priscilla Hon. However, in the final match, Bejlek lost to British No. 1 Heather Watson, but stormed back to win 3-6, 6-4, 7-5.
Now, she will face Liudmila Samsonova in the first round of the main draw, while the youngster could face 2021’s US Open finalist Leylah Fernandez, if she makes it through the second round.
And if she is able to make it through the third round then she will face the 2021’s French Open Champion Barbora Krejcikova.
Sara is the youngest player in the US Open 2022’s main draw. In WTA rankings, she is currently at the position of No. 209 and so far, on the ITF circuit, she has won 4 singles titles.
