Nick Saban was livid upon being asked a question on Jahleel Billingsley with him offloading on the reporter
While it takes little to irk Nick Saban, even by his standards, his outburst at a reporter during a press conference recently made for bemsuing viewing.
Stepping out to address media outlets, Saban was in an irate mood from the start itself. It needed little to rub him the wrong way with a question about tight end Jahleel Billingsley pushing him over the edge.
Billingsley who has typically gotten lot of playing time at Alabama has seen his minutes go up this season against Miami, Mercer and Florida. The 6 foot 4 inch tall junior ended up catching his first pass of the season against the Gators with 26 yard touchdown reception.

The side’s football coach, Saban was quizzed about the increase in minutes for Billingsley, a simple and innocent question. However, for some perplexing reason, Saban decided to respond with an outburst as he went bonkers.
“Well, he’s doing what he’s supposed to do. I think that – did any of you play sports? I mean, the coach is supposed to play the best players, right? So to answer your question, he’s doing what he’s supposed to do,” Saban said.

Saban went onto further dwell into how Billingsley was more involved in the modus operandi of the team and was providing what was asked of him to see him feature more for the side.
Alabama who have been solid this season will be taking on Southern Miss this weekend before squaring off against two ranked SEC teams in No. 13 Ole Miss on October 2 and No. 7 Texas A&M on October 9.
