For the first time in 32 years, a movie which finally showed the plight of Hindus in Kashmir in 1990 has been made.

After the whims and fancies of leftists and Bollywood to wash over the crimes of Muslims in the valley as they raped, burnt, converted and murdered Hindus unabated in Kashmir, Vivek Agnihotri came out with The Kashmir Files. The movie which has turned into a movement since its release has been welcomed with open arms in the country with it going onto do unprecedented business of over Rs.200 crore worldwide.
Unlike the propaganda movies Shikara and Mission Kashmir, The Kashmir Files tells the true story of how 4,00,000 Kashmiri Pandits were forced to leave their homes in the biggest genocide in India. However, the movie has been discredited by the opposition and liberals in the country, people who have lost their marbles after seeing their ilk being exposed.
The movie has also been made tax free in a string of BJP ruled states with Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal having a special predicament against the movie. Video footage of him lambasting the movie, mocking it and hitting out at the decision to make it tax free has gone viral.
This comes in the wake of him not only promoting scores of Bollywood movies over the years, ones which feature AAP supporting and friendly stars with him also making them tax free in the capital. For someone who has built a career dolling out freebies to entice voters, questioning the tax free status to one of the biggest movies in the country till date makes for bemusing viewing
