Samuel wrote on Twitter to clarify that because there were more than 400 kids at his camp, he was unable to sign individual items. Jeremy Lowe, the young person in the video, asked Samuel to sign a football that bore the 49ers emblem. It turns out that a component of the camp was for each participant to acquire an autographed photo and a picture with Samuel.

Samuel posted on Twitter, “Host[ing] a camp in my hometown this past week was a tremendous blessing and the support was genuinely special. Thank you to Spartanburg High School, the city of Spartanburg, the campers, parents, coaches, and support personnel. Every single one of my fans is appreciated. Sadly, I was unable to sign any personal goods for the more than 400 campers, but each camper received a personalised photo. Happy and healthy Fourth of July weekend to all!

What Mark Hodge Claims?

Mark Hodge, a Spartanburg football coach, claims that Samuel had some of the images re-signed before inviting the players back the next day for some free practice.’

“He took a 10-minute unplanned break from camp to RE-SIGN 150+ pictures after using a subpar marker, making sure the children received their autographs. Unfortunately, you occasionally have to say no, just as you all have done. The following day, @19problemz invited our guys to a free training session. He adores kids,” tweeted Coach Mark Hodge.
