Around 6 a.m. on Sunday, Old East Dallas residents reported hearing a man thumping on doors in the 1600 block of Tribeca Way. When they heard this, officials reportedly raced to the area. The Dallas Police Department allegedly posted a video of Bennett’s arrest shortly after it happened, and it quickly became popular on social media.

The man, who is thought to be Bennett, can be heard shouting complaints from the camera as many police officers are seen tackling the man to the ground. He may be seen briefly evading the police before being thrown to the ground and detained.

Local sources state that when the officers arrived, Bennett was intoxicated. However, If Bennett was the individual allegedly knocking on doors, was not specified in a police press release regarding the event. After being detained at a city jail facility, the 25-year-old was arrested and released just before 11 a.m. His arrest details weren’t made public. Furthermore, it is unknown if he was fired by the club.
