The Cubs vs White Sox game grabs headlines for the wrong reasons as their fans get involved into a huge fight, have a look at the viral video
Tuesday night’s Cubs vs. White Sox game was a bit of a bore, but it was anything from that in the stands when numerous fans from both sides viciously beat one another.
Cubs and White Sox fans get into wild fight inside Guaranteed Rate Field suite, brawl video goes viral
Crosstown rivals the Chicago Cubs and Chicago White Sox have hostile fan bases who dislike one another. On Wednesday, the ostensible animosity was on full show in the opulent suites at Guaranteed Rate Field.
During the Cubs’ 10-7 victory over the White Sox, some supporters got into a fight. Two female fans were seen arguing in one area of the suite in a video shared on Twitter, while two male fans were fighting physically in seats close by.
As you can see, the rumble featured so many participants that it resembled a WWE bout within a box. The event actually occurred inside a suite at Guaranteed Rate Field during the Cubs’ 7-3 victory against their rival across town.
Men and women wearing Cubs and Sox jerseys were involved, often kicking and punching one other. At one point, three times in a row, one woman viciously swung her foot into the face of another. Eventually, though, onlookers helped to restore order by separating the fighters from one another. Before being lifted over the chairs and carried to the back of the suite area, a man in a blue shirt appeared to punch another supporter repeatedly. “It needs to be separated,” was said in regard to the melee by someone in the background of the footage.
At MLB games, fights between fans have broken out in the stands several times, but brawls occurring in opulent suites are a bit unusual. Nobody has yet been able to identify the fighters in the altercation. It is also not known if anyone was hurt.

It is unknown whether any arrests were made. Regarding their intra-city rivalry, the Cubs not only prevailed on Tuesday, but also defeated the Sox once more on Wednesday, giving them the upper hand until their next meeting in August.
