Cariappa’s Statement
Cariappa informed the police that he had been in a relationship with a woman from Kodagu, and despite their initial love, he had to end it due to her struggles with drug addiction, alcoholism, and promiscuity.
According to him, the breakup was solely based on these issues, and there was no coercion involved in any abortion.

The latest development involves Cariappa sharing videos with authorities depicting his ex-girlfriend engaging in drug use. These images have surfaced on social media, adding a new dimension to the ongoing controversy.
A prominent figure In Indian cricket, Cariappa has represented Karnataka in domestic cricket and played for teams like KKR, Punjab Kings, and Rajasthan Royals in the IPL.
Following these recent events, the Bengaluru police will conduct an investigation, and if evidence of alleged abuse is found, potential repercussions for Cariappa’s ex-partner may follow.
Bengaluru City Commissioner Dayananda stated, “We will examine the video content that has been released and where it has been released. Procedural implications will be examined.
“The source of the drugs or the details of the drug peddler is also a part of the investigation. Action will be taken based on evidence. We will examine the legal implications and accordingly proceed.”
For those unfamiliar, KC Cariappa, born on April 13, 1994, is an Indian cricketer known for his role as a mystery spinner, specializing in leg spin.
He began his cricket journey as a fast-bowling all-rounder at the age of 17 but later transitioned to spin bowling. In 2014, his performance in the Karnataka Premier League caught the attention of IPL scouts, leading to his inclusion in the Kolkata Knight Riders’ squad for the 2015 IPL auction after an impressive trial.
