Pakistan Defeated Netherlands 3-0 in a 3-match ODI series
The Pakistani team is looking in great shape for the upcoming Asia cup 2022 happening in Dubai later this month. After the injury of Shaheen Afridi Pakistan has found another wicket-taking speedster in place for him in Naseem Shah. The 19-year-old right-arm quick picked up 10 wickets in the 3 games at an average of 11.10.
Naseem Shah always had potential but it was just the confidence that was lacking and it seems like the youngster has gained it.
Babar Azam’s scintillating batting performance once again
Currently the best batter in the world Babar Azam has been delivering in all three formats currently. He is the No. 1 batsman in ODI and T20Is and his numbers speak for themselves. Before the Marquee event, Asia Cup 2022 the world’s no.1 batsman has got plenty of runs in the back. In the last game of the series, Babar scored 91 off 120 balls on a very difficult pitch to bat on.
Babar Azam Mistakenly said ‘Credit to Scotland’ instead of the Netherlands in the post-match presentation
After sweeping the Netherlands team, 3-0 on thier home turf captain of Pakistan was called for the presentation ceremony. The captain looked absolutely tired after the game and said ‘Credit to Scotland bowlers’ instead of Netherlands when he was asked about the game.
After playing a match ODI series against a team and not remembering thier can mean nothing but a brain fade moment. He was absolutely delighted with his team’s performance so he might have forgotten the name of the opposition.
