Defensive end rookie for the Cowboys Sam Williams was involved in a car accident in Plano on Thursday afternoon, and was taken to a nearby hospital as a precaution, according to a police spokesperson with the video of his car viral
At around 2:15 p.m., Williams was driving south on Preston Road when a car coming from the north made a westward turn in front of him. A Plano police spokesman claimed that the collision between the automobiles caused so much damage and debris that a section of Preston Road had to be closed until around 4:50 p.m.

As a precaution, emergency medical services took both parties to the hospital. A Cowboys representative stated Sam Williams was immediately released from the hospital. Williams tweeted at roughly 6:30 p.m., “I’m good everyone so is the other person involved.”
Police said they have ruled out drug or alcohol use as a contributing factor in this case. Even though Williams was in the right of way, the authorities are looking into whether or not his speed played a role. Williams’ estimated speed was unavailable for specifics.
A Cowboys representative confirmed the event on Thursday afternoon. Williams’ condition will be closely tracked as we head toward Saturday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles. On Friday after practise, the team will determine whether or not he will be added to the injury report because of concerns about his availability.

Sam William’s Corvette Is Not In Good Condition
The accident’s aftermath was seen on camera today. And it’s clear that Williams is incredibly fortunate to be alive, let alone unharmed, given the state of the vehicle.

Fox4’s Jeff Kolb filmed the two vehicles as they were being towed away, and it’s clear that Williams’ car received the most damage.
Sam Williams’s Corvette appears to have been completely demolished on the driver-side. While the Infiniti appears to have sustained minimal front-end damage, at least in the video. This indicates that Williams was driving straight in the opposite way when the Infiniti turned left in front of him.
