Shortly after the ban, Tate posted a «final message» video to his fans in which he explained how his image had been depicted out of context. The former kickboxer and struggling TV star was being heavily criticised for his extreme comments on comparing women to poverty and making fun of them.

He did not discuss the prohibitions YouTube or TikTok, but he said he was not “angry” about his withdrawal from meta-owned platforms Instagram and Facebook. However, he said he would have liked to have received a warning prior to the enactment of the prohibitions. Tate stated that the viral sequences of videos featuring him were taken out of context. He blamed short-form video platforms such as TikTok and Instagram Reels for only showing portions of his statements. He said it was “wrongfully defamed.”
Tate also said that he will not be part of the podcast he is co-hosting with his brother, Tristan Tate. He said he hopes to keep “talking on behalf of men.”
A resurfaced video of Tate beating a woman went viral
Recently, a video of Tate beating a woman who is considered an ex-girlfriend resurfaced on the Internet. The video shows that Tate abused the woman and even hit her with his belt. The video first made its appearance on the internet in 2016 when Tate was in the UK.
