Ice-T and Coco Austin have addressed the criticism of their daughter Chanel Nicole Marrow twerking dancing skills after the video went viral
Chanel is seven years old.
Coco posted a video to Instagram of her and her family trying out a TikTok dance, and Chanel joined in to show off her skills.
Coco and several family members, all dressed in identical Christmas jammies, were starting their dance when the 7-year-old decided to join in and twerk, doing her best impression of Tina Belcher from Bob’s Burgers. Family and friends cheered on Chanel as she danced and smiled to “Shake It” by M.C. Shy-D.

“Gotta love family time!” Coco wrote alongside the video, posted to Instagram Tuesday. “The adults in our family were doing a TikTok and Chanel runs out in the middle to bust a move to make us laugh.. She loves to joke #tinabobsburgers #bobsburgers #tinabelcher #dancemoves”
The 43-year-old TV star’s admirers voiced their disapproval of the dance moves in the comments section. Coco retorted, “making fun of a character from Bob’s Burgers,” as the reason Chanel was mocked.
The star of Law & Order: SVU, Ice-T, fired back at his critics in a tweet of his own.
“Everyone is going to hate you anyway… so you might as well give them a reason,” the post read.
The 64-year-old rapper added some advice of his own in the captions, writing, “Christmas is over.. My advice is you go into 2023 with THIS attitude if you want to WIN. 💎”
Coco Austin Is Always Under Scanner Of Others
Other parents have voiced their disapproval of the pair on numerous occasions. Coco talked about the vitriol she’s received and how being “under a microscope all the time” has affected her last month on the Tamron Hall Show.
Hall aired a video in which Austin’s husband Ice-T called her the “best mother” to Chanel, causing Coco to cry and say that she doesn’t “hear that much” from the public and instead “hears a lot of the terrible.”
