Following the Dallas Mavericks’ 111-101 triumph in Game 4 of their second-round playoff series, Paul made headlines for suggesting that fans at American Airlines Center “place their hands” on members of his family:
Fans assaulted Paul’s wife, Jada, and put their hands on his mother, Robin, according to ESPN’s Dave McMenamin. Furthermore, his children were allegedly witnesses to the harassment, leaving his family feeling “extremely insecure.”
