Chris Broussard Says Kevin Durant Can’t Move To The Raptors Because Canada Can;t House African Americans, Video Goes Viral
Masai Ujiri, the president of the Raptors, has made his team the front-runner in the race to sign Kevin Durant, but FOX Sports analyst Chris Broussard is not a fan of the concept. He discussed some of the drawbacks of residing there in a recent episode of First Things First.

On Monday’s episode of First Things First, Chris Broussard observed, “Great city, but it’s not America, and you feel that there. It’s not a condition that African Americans are accustomed to, particularly as one who is African American. Before Ujiri, I spoke with a few members of that organisation about the possibility of keeping African American superstars there.”
The full clip from Chris Broussard also includes:
-him comparing Scottie Barnes to Ben Simmons
-saying maybe a Ben Simmons trade makes sense for the #Raptors
-"The best players they have tend to be the international guys… or DeMar DeRozan, Kyle Lowry, who weren't superstars." pic.twitter.com/iaSQnVeOcs— Adam Laskaris (@adam_la2karis) July 4, 2022
Ujiri has already taken significant chances, like as trading for Kawhi Leonard for one season, which led to an NBA Championship.
According to DraftKings, Toronto had the second-best odds to get Durant from the Brooklyn Nets as of Monday morning. Only the Phoenix Suns were worse off than the Raptors, who were at +250.
The Raptors have elite players on expensive contracts like Fred VanVleet or Pascal Siakam who could be used for salary matching. They may even propose Gary Trent Jr. or OG Anunoby, if they so desired.
Additionally, Toronto is offering all of its first-round draught picks. Over the next two weeks, things are going to get pretty interesting.
NBA Trade Rumors:
The Brooklyn Nets have received a request from Kevin Durant for a trade. Several teams are putting together trade packages for him. The Nets should be able to persuade Durant to sign a new deal after Kyrie Irving decided to enter the final year of his deal.
Shams Charania claims that the Brooklyn Nets are acting in anticipation of Durant and Irving remaining in Brooklyn.
