While claiming that the Indian players are involved in doping methods to stay fit in time, Chetan Sharma also revealed that Hardik Pandya’s name has been decided as the next T20I skipper for the national side.
It simply means that Sharma is indicating the fact that Rohit Sharma will no longer going to be a part of the national set-up.
The news has certainly made a shocking remark for Rohit’ fans as they are not liking the idea of not witnessing their favourite player’ clean shot at the T20I.
However, in his statement, Chetan said that. “In the T20I format, strong starters like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are given “rest” to give Shubman Gill an opportunity.”
He further added that “Hardik Pandya would take over as captain in the long run and that Rohit Sharma would no longer be a part of the T20I setup. I brought in the likes of Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan, Deepak Hooda, Shubman Gill, and other 15-20 players in the team.”
Although the news surrounding Hardik leading the Indian team has been an old one but claims regarding Sharma being excluded from the national T20I set-up is definitely coming as something big which many including me don’t won’t to see.
Let us remind you, Sharma has played pretty well with his bat as of late and now his exclusion from the national set-up could mean that the board has lost trust in his captaincy.
