In the end, it seemed the gentlemen may have resumed their argument, but they were probably too worn out to continue.

This year, slow play in golf has received a lot of attention.

When it came to the lethargic play at The Masters, Brooks Koepka spoke up. After finishing second to Jon Rahm in the final round at Augusta National, Koepka was questioned about the round’s play time, which was slightly under 4 hours, 50 minutes. Yes, the group ahead of us was moving awfully slowly, Koepka retorted. We were still waiting even though Jon used the loo seven times during the round.

Patrick Cantlay, an American who was playing in the group in front of him and is infamous for his fast speed, was blamed by many onlookers. For the length of time he takes to line up shots, Cantlay has come under fire from many commentators and fans, who have vented their frustrations on social media.
