We lost our compatriot Musa Askan Yamak, a boxer from Alucra, who won European and Asian championships, at a young age after a heart attack. I wish God’s mercy on the deceased, whom we met at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey when he came to Ankara for the competition, and my condolences to his sad family and fans.

Who Was Musa Yamak?
Musa Askan Yamak was born and reared in the Turkish town of Alucra, Giresun but he fought professionally for Germany. He was born in the year 1986. Before his death, he was living in Munich, Bayern, Germany. He was a Muslim and followed Islam but there are no details available of his family.
He stands 6 feet 0 inches tall and weighs 70 kg.
He fell in the ring after being unbeaten in 75 professional contests. With the WBF and GBU titles, Musa has become the Asia-Europe light-heavyweight boxing champion.
In the battle held in Istanbul in 2019, he also became the European champion. Musa was one of Germany’s most qualified boxers, having made his professional debut on October 13, 2017.
His Death Cause
Yamak took a huge shot from Wandera in the 2nd round, which wiggled him, as per the Sun reports.
He was able to sit on his seat at the conclusion of the round, but he fell 1 minute later as he went out. He was subsequently transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead from a heart attack.
Trainers and medical staff raced to his aid, and he was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died of a heart attack.
