A video of a group of Bihari migrant boys setting fire to the hills and forests of Uttarakhand while filming themselves and narrating the incident has gone viral

The viral video shows a group of Bihari migrant boys setting fire to a forest in Uttarakhand. One of the boys is seen wearing a maroon-colored t-shirt, while the other boy wears a blue colored t-shirt. One of the boys, who has a stick in his hand, narrates that they are doing the work of setting fire.
The boy further states that it is their job to set fire and play with fire every now and then. He further says that they will burn the entire mountain to ashes. One of the boys claims that those who play with fire are never challenged and no one ever challenges Biharis. The video has sparked all kinds of reactions and serious concerns from netizens questioning authorities across social media.
Uttarakhand Forest Department yet to respond
Surprisingly, neither the Uttarakhand Forest Department nor the Uttarakhand government have posted any response to the video posted by the migrant Bihari boys. Uttarakhand is famous for its mountains and forests, with some locals dependent on forests for their livelihood. Moreover, the mountains and forests on fire are also home to various types of wildlife.
Uttarakhand facing multiple forest fires
Notably, Uttarakhand is currently facing multiple forest fires all the way from Garhwal to Kumaon in Uttarakhand, just like in the video of the migrant Bihari boys. According to reports, there were 40 incidents of forest fire on Wednesday alone. Reports have stated the role of some anti-social elements in spreading the forest fires.
