On Sunday in Perth, Pakistan will play the Netherlands in their third Group 2 game of the Super 1. T20 World Cup 2022 seems to be over for Pakistan

Pakistan will need to win their final three games if they want to continue in the competition. Second, Babar Azam and the team need to win their next three games by a wide margin in order to maintain a respectable run rate.

Thirdly, they must pray that every result goes their way, which would include Zimbabwe losing two out of three games, Bangladesh losing a game, and South Africa losing to both Pakistan and India. Pakistan’s prospects of making it out of Group 2 and into the semifinals have been hampered by the defeat to Zimbabwe.
