For some reason, the broadcasters of the Augusta Masters 2022 golf tournament decided to take a break in live TV coverage to show Tiger Woods chomping on a sandwich

However, the Americans obsession with Woods went a bit overboard today with broadcasters deciding it was more prudent to show him eating a sandwich rather than live action from the tournament.

US TV obsession with Tiger Woods is so bad that him eating a sandwich while waiting gets more coverage than some players in live action

Making the most of the break in play, 46 year old Woods hid behind some bushes next to the tee box with the camera turning its attention on him as he unwrapped a sandwich and went onto tuck into it. While its uncertain if it was one of the famous Pimento cheese sandwiches or not, the cameraman was seen way too focused on Woods satisfying his taste buds as beleaguered viewers tuning into live action were left flabbergasted.
While Woods has been solid till now, current world number 1, Scottie Scheffler leads the leaderboard. Woods decided to feast himself to the sandwich as he and playing partner Joaquin Niemann waited to tee off on the par five 13th hole.
