A tie which looked headed towards a draw burst into life in the closing stages. As Kortney Hause latched onto a Douglas Luiz header to give his side a 1-0 lead in the 88th minute, it looked like Aston Villa had assured themselves of the three points on the day.

However, further late drama awaited us on the day as Manchester United were awarded a late penalty. And with Cristiano Ronaldo on the pitch, it was but a bygone conclusion that the Portuguese would be stepping up to carry out the obligation of taking the kick.

Unfortunately for him, his countryman, Bruno Fernandes had different thoughts. Despite being implored by Ronaldo, the midfielder refused to budge with him adamant on adding to his tally tally through another penalty.
