Anthony Joshua who will be taking on Oleksandr Usyk has talked about how Jay Z was on the cusp of punching him at a Will Smith movie premiere 

Ahead of his impending showdown with Oleksandr Usyk, Anthony Joshua sat down in an interview to talk about a raft of topics. And while he navigated his way through a string of issues, one which managed to stood out was a story involving him and rapper Jay Z.

The British boxer went onto talk about the time when he was sure Jay Z was going to punch him. Joshua went onto dwell into his time at a Will Smith movie premiere, one where he had seen the rapper and aspired to take a picture alongside him.

Anthony Joshua Remembers Time Jay Z Almost Punched Him

Joshua talked about how despite being extremely nervous of advancing Jay Z, he had decided to do so nonetheless. He talked about how he had gone onto hold Jay Z’s hand whilst asking him for a picture, a gesture which had left the rapper irked with Jay Z giving Joshua a disgusted look, one which was enough for him to let go of the rapper’s hand.

Things ended out well though with Joshua managing to get the picture he yearned for.

Joshua meanwhile finds himself featuring in FIFA 22 alongside F1’s Lewis Hamilton. Joshua who was a playable character in the Volta street football mode in FIFA 21 is seen making an appearance in the early access version of the upcoming edition with him featuring ahead of the opening Chelsea vs PSG Champions League semi-final in the game.

Anthony Joshua vs Oleksandr Usyk is meanwhile set to be an intriguing fight with both set to spar in the next couple of days.
