When Jackson was at the crease during the 9th over of the game, Baroda captain Rayudu, who was fielding at the cover, seemed to have made a remark about the former and where the situation flared up.
However, according to the commentators, the verbal spat started because Rayudu didn’t like Sheldon’s behavior since he took too long to face the delivery.
Following a heated argument in which umpires and other players intervened, the two eventually reconciled.
In the viral footage, the umpire and other players around were seen acting quickly to stop the dispute from getting worse. While being separated from the Saurashtra batsman, the Baroda captain was seen explaining the situation and expressing his unhappiness to the umpire.
Speaking of the game, Saurashtra captain Jaydev Unadkat had called for the opponents to bat first after winning the toss. Thanks to Mitesh Patel’s 60-run innings and Vishnu Solanki’s 51 off 33 balls, Baroda was able to achieve 175/4 in 20 overs.
However, Rayudu was unable to open his account and was thus dismissed on a golden duck by Jaydev, his counterpart.
