After 41 years of hurt, anguish and pain, India finally united to usher in an Olympic hockey medal. The side’s 5-4 win against Germany on Thursday morning was a jaffer of a fixture, one which saw the country erupt in joyous celebrations.

However, the win wasn’t a straightforward with India being made to huff and puff by the Germans. The side’s relentless and ruthless attack refused to go away though to see the side outscore its opponents.
