The Premier League 2024-25 season has officially begun, with featuring some brand-new goal animations tailored for each team. These animations have currently taken over the social media platforms since they were introduced on the scoreboard.

As of now, teams that havenโt scored yet includes, Fulham, Everton, Wolves, Ipswich Town, and Southampton. We will have to wait until Round 2 to see their goal animations.
The animations for Brentford, Crystal Palace, Chelsea, Manchester City, Leicester City, and Tottenham could also debut in this round if they manage to score.
Let us remind you, the new season of Premier League 2024-25 season kicked off with Manchester United hosting Fulham at Old Trafford on Friday, August 16.
This new season introduced a new approach to calculating stoppage time, with referees receiving updated instructions aimed at shortening match durations.
30-Second Rule
This change is in response to concerns about the growing length of Premier League games, which averaged approximately 101 minutes and 35 seconds last season.
A key element of the new guidelines is the implementation of a 30-second rule after each goal. According to this directive, referees will allocate a standard 30 seconds for teams to regroup after a goal is scored before adding any extra stoppage time for celebrations or VAR reviews.
