Alia Bhatt Remarked About The “Boycott Bollywood” Trend

In a recent interview with Mid-Day, Alia Bhatt made the following remarks about the Boycott trend like other Bollywood giants like Kareena Kapoor Khan and Aamir Khan:

I can’t keep defending myself verbally. And if you don’t like me, don’t watch me. I can’t help it. That’s something I can’t do [anything about].

When asked about the alleged abuse she endured as a celebrity child, the actress made the comment, saying,

People have something to say. Hopefully, I will prove to them with my movies that I am actually worth the space I occupy.

When questioned about the nepotism problem in the Indian film business, the actress exclaimed,

What the hell is this nonsense? Why is this happening for no reason?.
