The video of Ajith Kumar’s accident in his Porsche car while racing during Dubai 24H aka Hours 2025 practice run has gone viral
During a practice run for the forthcoming Dubai 24 Hours event, the racing car of Ajith Kumar crashed. The actor, however, was unharmed in the incident.
Ajith Kumar had previously participated in the FIA F2 Championship, British Formula 3, and Formula BMW Asia. On social media, a video of the collision that showed Ajith Kumar’s automobile spinning uncontrollably went viral. He is safe as per a statement released by his team.

Ajith Kumar Racing’s official Instagram page posted a video of the collision. Ajith collided with the barriers with his race car during the six-hour endurance test practice. The actor’s Porsche is seen smashing into a barrier, spinning out of control, and utterly wrecking the front end in a video that is currently on X. Ajith is unharmed when the car was brought under control and he was taken out.
His team said, “Yes, he narrowly escaped an accident, his race car hit the barrier during the practice run. The security personnel present there responded immediately. Ajith shifted to another race car because this one was totalled and continued practice. Thankfully, he is unharmed.”
Suresh Chandra, his Manager, shared an update on his health. “Ajith is unhurt, hale and healthy. He was driving at a speed of 180 km when this happened.”
Ajith Kumar owns the racing team Ajith Kumar Racing and is set to compete in the Dubai 24 H race starting 9 January, 2025 with his teammates Mathieu Detry, Fabian Duffieux, and Cameron McLeod. Fabian Duffieux became the team manager in December. 2024. In a video shared by the team, Ajith’s car is seen spinning seven times after hitting the barrier and he was rescued and taken to an ambulance.
