Adin Ross Swatting Prank Explained
In context to the Ross incident for those who are not yet aware of the term, swatting is a reckless prank that is played on the YouTubers and live streamers. In this prank viewers, phone emergency services and direct them to the streamer’s house. Basically, the prank will claim the person they are reporting is very dangerous which can also lead to law enforcement officers showing up at the streamer’s property.
Former Dance Moms star and well-known YouTube sensation JoJo Siwa fell victim to a swatting incident in 2021, claiming that 50 police officers will arrive at her house following a prank call. Several online personalities have become particularly more careful when shooting in their homes to make the identity of their address private. There should be some precautions simply taken as closing the curtains to block giveaway indications.

In the footage, it is re-uploaded to his YouTube channel, Ross can be seen explaining the situation over the phone stating, “There’s a SWAT team at my house right now bro, I can also hear them out.” As the streamer proceeds to place their hands above his head he asks all the viewers: “Why do y’all do this to people?”
Ross then reassures his friends in the room with him that it is all ok as he stays calm throughout this raid. The footage ends with Ross and his friends getting out of the room with their hands placed on their heads, despite this, his stream continued to roll live on Twitch.
