Smith-Neale began participating in more BDO events after beginning the 2018 season without receiving a Tour Card, which helped him earn a spot in the BDO World Masters.

After winning the final match on the final day of Q School against Nick Kenny, he was granted a tour card again in 2023 and will compete in the PDC circuit in 2023 and 2024.

Smith-Neale has had two successful seasons competing at the top level since regaining his PDC tour card in 2023. In 2011, when he was barely 17 years old, he also won a tour card, which he forfeited at the conclusion of the year. He is currently ranked 82 in the world.
