On Wednesday, the Barcelona midfielder was driving for the practice ground and middle of that a few Barca supporters started abusing him and asked him to accept the salary cut ahead of their opening game against Rayo Vallecano on Sunday.
This is a mystery transfer saga for the Dutchmen as the two Premier League Giants Chelsea and Man-United showed a great interest in bringing him to the most challenging football league. Frenkie’s camp has been in talks with Barcelona and has requested £17 million in deferred wages that they claim are owed.
However, Frenkie is rigid in his decision to play for Barcelona, but to do so, he must accept the pay cut in his contract. Barcelona has been very busy over the course of this transfer window and has already done many new signatures. New players need to be registered with La Liga before the end of the transfer window on August 31.
