Aaron Rodgers is once more praising ayahuasca, this time for helping him overcome his “huge dread of dying”
Rodgers couldn’t help but praise ayahuasca.
Aaron Rodgers Claims That Psychedelic Drug Ayahuasca Reduced His Fear Of Dying.
The Green Bay Packers quarterback, who previously claimed that his use of ayahuasca contributed to his two MVP seasons in 2020 and 2021, revealed to Pat McAfee on Tuesday that the psychedelic experience he had while ingesting the brew helped him feel much more at peace with death.
The 39-year-old continued that he developed a dread of not achieving specific life goals before finally passing while growing up as a young teenager during Y2K. On The Pat McAfee Show, he said that ayahuasca had changed everything for him, telling McAfee and A.J. Hawk.
He most certainly has a fear of dying, he admitted. And ayahuasca, and psilocybin actually, really helped him with that and removed a lot of the stress around the thought of trying to do things before he actually dies. Rodgers claimed the journey compelled him to the thought of death became more of a passage and less of an ending as he began to see the other side, he added. More specifically, the next phase of existence.
Before, Rodgers described taking ayahuasca as a fantastic experience.
Rodgers first ingested ayahuasca during a trip to South America in 2020, calling it “a fantastic experience” in an August interview with Aubrey Marcus. After a touchdown in September, his Packers teammates teased him about it, and he seemed to enjoy the spontaneous on-field celebration.

As the Green Bay Packers situation becomes dire, Aaron Rodgers supports the San Francisco 49ers.
After a terrible 2022 NFL season, the Green Bay Packers still have a chance to make the playoffs, but they will need the San Francisco 49ers’ assistance. In a crucial game for both NFC West rivals on Thursday night, when the San Francisco 49ers take on the Seattle Seahawks, Aaron Rodgers has stated that he will be rooting for the club that he often hates the most.
With one of the weakest defences in the league throughout that time, the Seahawks have been in free fall lately, losing three of their last four games. Seattle will be huge underdogs in the Thursday night game, despite their recent dominance of the Niners, as their opponents will be hoping to take the division with a victory.
However, a victory would also be crucial for the Green Bay Packers and quarterback Aaron Rodgers to keep their postseason hopes alive. The Packers must likely win out to go to the postseason as they are two games behind the Seahawks, Giants, and Commanders.
